Gretchen Neidert, a local freelance editor and video artist, will discuss the range of opportunities which are available to a Pittsburgh freelancer, workflow as a producer and freelancer, and tips for someone entering the freelance job market.

As Senior Producer of Pittsburgh Filmmakers Production Services, she has been producing, directing, and editing industrials for local not-for-profit organizations looking for low cost media solutions.  Clients include FISA Foundation, Fred Rogers Center, Sprout Fund, The Summer Dreamers Academy with the Heinz Endowment, The Eye and Ear Foundation of Pittsburgh, and Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership with the Forbes Fund. The program offers internship opportunities to Pittsburgh area artists as well as students and members of the PFPCA.
